ABOUT ME

Maya Hardie is a documentary director and cinematographer based in Salt Lake City, Utah. She has over 5 years of experience, primarily working on freelance projects for local businesses and nonprofit organizations. Maya recently graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Cinema with an emphasis in documentary from Utah Valley University.

Her personal philosophy as an artist is to tell stories based on lived experiences and to use storytelling as a catalyst for creating positive change in our local communities and our planet as a whole. Maya is deeply devoted to mentorship and sharing knowledge and opportunities within the industry, striving to support and inspire the next generation of filmmakers.
